As a financial advisor of Raymond James Financial Services, and vice president of The Renn Wealth Management Group, Kathryn oversees our financial planning services and the implementation of investment strategies for our clients. She has worked in the financial services industry for almost 20 years.

Depending on each individual client and their needs, Kathryn will apply her knowledge of investment management, asset allocation, retirement planning, education planning, charitable giving strategies, risk management, cash flow and debt analysis, tax planning and estate planning.

Kathryn’s goal for her clients is to help them advance from where they are now to where they want to be in the future, and to leave no stone unturned when it comes to the many related aspects of their financial lives.

As a Certified Financial Planner practitioner, Kathryn adheres to the CFP Board’s Code of Ethics for integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism and diligence. She has been dedicated to helping her clients work toward their financial goals by guiding them through the planning process set forth by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

She holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, and is licensed in variable annuities, life, long term care, disability and health insurance. She additionally has earned the Investment Management Consultant designation through Raymond James, and is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Atlanta Estate Planning Council.

Prior to joining The Renn Wealth Management Group in 2000, Kathryn worked with Pat Renn at Consolidated Planning Corporation as a senior financial planner and was previously employed by the Robinson-Humphrey Company, LLC, as an assistant vice president in the personal financial planning department.

Kathryn earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting with a minor in French from Presbyterian College, where she graduated magna cum laude. Before college, she attended the Lovett School in Atlanta.

An Atlanta native, Kathryn lives here with her husband, Weston, and their two sons. In her free time, she enjoys travel, running, biking, snow skiing, and various other outdoor activities. She is a lifelong member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, and has served as a Sunday school teacher and parent council chair of the Trinity Early Learning Center.
